Phthalate-Free

All of our products at Bear and Fox are completely phthalate-free. We source our fragrance oils from vendors that provide health and safety data on all our materials. These fragrance oils do not contain any known harmful ingredients, are non-toxic, mostly derived from natural sources when possible, and safe for use around humans and animals.

We know that quality matters when the health and safety of you and your loved ones is concerned, and that's why we only choose the best available materials for all of our products.

Cheaply produced scented candles may use artificial fragrance oils that contain phthalates. These chemicals are a type of Volatile Organic Chemicals (or VOCs), and are known to be “endocrine disruptors” that pose multiple health risks that may include harm to the reproductive systems of men, women, and children, as well as links to allergies, asthma, and complications with pregnancy.

Paraffin-Free

Bear and Fox is committed to sourcing only the safest and most natural ingredients for use in our products. Our candles are 100% paraffin-free for a safer, cleaner, long-burning candle.

Many cheaply made candles rely heavily on artificial ingredients for their candlewax base like paraffin wax (a petroleum byproduct) that contain VOCs such as benzene, toluene, and formaldehyde that are released as they burn, and can contribute to indoor air pollution.
